“Dre Young” has been dancing professionally for over five years. Thirteen years ago he started training extensively in jazz then expanded his training in lyrical, which he fell in love with. Once Dre moved to Los Angeles, he increased his training in Hip Hop, as LA has a strong Hip Hop base within the industry. Dre is honored to have worked with artists such as Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, AgnezMo, Jolin Tsai, Twenty One Pilots and Frenchie Davis. He was a dancer on “America’s Got Talent”, Disney’s “Shake It Up” and has performed in over 300 live shows on the Disney Stage for “Electronica”, “Mad T Party” and “Freeze The Night”. You may have even caught a glimpse of him on “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 9, and in a few SYTYCD Commercials. Dre toured with Jolin Tsai on both her Myself World Tour 1 and 2 and gained a love for China. While there, he had the opportunity to choreograph for the Chinese version of So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing Carnival. Dre travels the United States and teaches classes, competing solos and group pieces throughout the year and you can find much of his work within the competing scene from the West to East Coast. He looks forward to his workshops and the interaction he has with his students. Sharing the love for dance.
